Left: original OT-specification
Middle: better/correct order of FontForge strings
Right: string-order for english, croatian, german => all different!
MacOS 10.11.6
FontForge version 20190413 based on sources from 26-Jul-2019 git:279e69163e4da2be6240d1b35fdbb6438e792344
Problem:
String IDs are sorted alphabetically in each locale. Confusing, when switching locale setting.
Go to: Element > Font Info > TTF names => String ID dropdown list
What should happen?
The string order should be identical accross locale FF-versions, just as it is in the menubar.
Solution:
Order the strings acoording to the order of the OT specification for all locales.
Optionally (I don't like this idea though): Order the strings acoording to the english order.
