remove the src from img id="webcam_image" src="{{ webcamStream }}" when the control tab is not visible this will save a lot of bandwidth when the control tab is not visible.

When the control tab is activate the src can be reactivated.

Is the bandwidth of an mjpg stream here really an issue?

Is 5Mbytes/s an issue over a wan link or wireless link? Yes it can be.
I do not want to waste bandwidth when not viewing the image!

Great, and I don't want to waste time developing features that nobody uses, which is why I asked nicely. Dial down the attitude a bit please.
