Keep only the essential to remove noise and make it easier for reader to understand what's going on, try the code, and give feedback.

This issue needs review.

Last time we met you helped me realize that the job of fgeo.biomass was unclear -- as judged by its homepage. You suggested that adding some more comments would clarify. I did some general pruning and editing.

Could you please review and make any comments you think would help clarify further?
