allow zero gap and smaller increments

Hello,

would it be possible to allow the user to specify no gap? Also, I find that the descriptions aren't super clear. My understanding is that the second number acts more like a multiplier than an increment.

Hey @Batwam - thanks for the contribution! Looks good to me.
FWIW, the keyboard shortcuts only changes the multiplier, and you can zero out the original but having smaller increments sounds much better too.

I just tested, and did not find issues. And we can always change it later
