No MySQL Server or Database selected

When trying to run a query in an open file (Alt+Ctrl+E) I get the error "No MySQL Server or Database selected". Still I find no way of selecting the database or issuing a "use" query. Perhaps this is just a documentation issue?

The strange thing is that I can execute the query perfectly fine using "SQLTools Connection: Run this file".

Am I missing something?

See #69 . Right click a database then select 'New Query'. You will see the database name in the bottom status bar and it's now selected.

1. there is no button 'new query' in my version and the screenshots look very different
2. in status bar the connection is selected but the error appears anyway
