GalaxySlicer V1.0.0-beta

This is an beta version that is still in development.

We have revised our slicer - and fixed a few bugs in the process.

Bug fixes

• New version dialog

  When starting GalaxySlicer the dialog for a new version was always displayed although there was no newer version, this has been fixed. In addition, it was also fixed that the release notes of the new version are displayed and the direct call to the release page of Github works.

  

• Creality K1 & K1 Max (not pausing)

  The problem that the Creality K1 & K1 Max did not pause was fixed.

Improvements

• Toolbar (Windows)

  The toolbar has been revised so that it now corresponds to the Windows standard and some functions are easier to find.

  

• About window

  In the About window, the version was displayed with a different text background & text sizes on macOS and Windows, this has been fixed so that it is now displayed the same on all operating systems.

  

• Printer selection

  Printer selection has been improved so that 4 printers are now displayed in one line instead of only 3 printers. This increases the clarity of the printer selection.

  

• Translation setup wizard

  The setup wizard has been translated in all supported languages of GalaxySlicer, so the usability has been improved.

GalaxySlicer V1.0.0-alpha2

This is an alpha version that is still in development and with this we leave the pre-release.

We have revised our slicer - and fixed a few bugs in the process.

Bug fixes

• Creating multiple printers

  After selecting multiple printers in the selection, not all printers were created, this error has been fixed.

Improvements

• Printer selection

  The manufacturer list in the printer selection is now sorted alphabetically, so that loading the printer selection now works faster than before. In addition, the problem also caused the list to be displayed differently under the various operating systems.

• Using IDEX Printers (Beta)

  The assignment of the filament to the extruderm has been simplified, making it easier to use IDEX printers. This is currently only available on the Snapmaker J1.

Changes

• Introduction of the new profile system

  The profile system is now in its final state and will not be changed anymore, so you can now create your own profiles and be sure that they will be compatible in the next version.

  ⚠️ All profiles from the pre-release might not work and have to be created again.

• Adding more Sovol filaments

  Added a profile for ASA & TPU for the Sovol printers

• Raise3D gcode flavour

  Changed the gcode flavour from marlin to reprap

Introduction of new functions

In the printer selection you can now easily search for your favourite vendor using the search field to get to your favourite vendor even faster.
