I met with FdM for an update and together we looked at the Help file, notably the "naming project" and "saving models" tabs. Although his automated naming GUI is really nice, I think that may be better in the "examples" tab. For the naming business, I feel somehow that having a single tab "saving and reading" or something, that shows the multiple levels at which we can read/write will be useful. I think it would be instructive for a novice user to see these possibilities in one place, and to understand what the subtle differences are, the advantages and disadvantages of each.
I shared screen w FdM and quickly made the attached. I'd be interested to know what you all think of this approach.... rapidmax-3-data.txt

Good point Atau. I took on your suggestion and made a more user friendly version of the name, read / write tabs. I left the two tabs still separated to show the clear distinction between naming and saving a new model, but the idea of condensing them into one tab seems like the way to go. Please, have a look at it and feel free to adjust. What do you guys think about it?
This seems like more of a tutorial than a help file? I think we're building up a substantial body of ideas that could be individual examples, or something bigger.
Thanks for your feedback Michael. That's indeed a suspended point worth discussing (help file vs. tutorial). I wonder whether you mean in general all the tabs, on specifically the name read / write tabs?
