MJO_RMM

Compute the MJO RMM index (Wheeler & Hendon, 2004) from combined EOF analysis of OLR and winds in the equatorial area.

Note 1 : This code was developed for educationnal purposes, and for French students. So the comments in the notebook are in French but the graphics and legends are in English.

NCEP daily wind data can be downloaded here : ftp2.psl.noaa.gov/Projects/Datasets/ncep.reanalysis.dailyavgs/pressure

NOAA daily OLR data can be found here : https://downloads.psl.noaa.gov/Datasets/interp_OLR/olr.day.mean.nc

If you can't find the data ask me and I'll make it available for you.
