Simple way for data visualization. Check out it's capabilities, especially:

  • vizualization options
  • does it collect and store data?
  • does it understand MQTT?

Goal: evaluate if it would be easier to use Grafana instead of building everything from scratch. Find out, which gap it could close (temporary or permantently).

Grafana can only visualize data. I introduced InfluxDB in combination with Telegraf to collect and store MQTT data. All three tools are implemented with #23.
