Services like Nomad and Consul need to verify their identity as well. In Minerva we will have an intermediate CA to sign the services' certificates. We need to make it possible to simulate the actions of interacting with vault's api or terraform resources to sign certificates.

Requirements:

  • Vault PKI enabled
  • Roles for Nomad and Consul available so that they can get their certificates
  • Existing example on how to add roles to issue certificates
