This boilerplate is the most recent version of Symfony Standard Edition, adds the Ant build script (thanks to mbadolato's Gist) of Sebastian Bergmann's Template for Jenkins Jobs for PHP Projects for the Jenkins CI and comes with a .gitignore which combines GitHub's Symfony2 .gitignore with the one of [HTML5 Boilerplate] (https://github.com/h5bp/html5-boilerplate/blob/master/.gitignore).
There are still some things to do: Integration of Capifony for an easy deployment, Behat for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and maybe some more default bundles like DoctrineMigrationsBundle or DoctrineFixturesBundle.
