Adjust the u-boot configuration text as needed to boot from the btrfs '@' subvolume.

x_bootargs_root is also set on lines 237 and 382. Should those be updated also, to include the subvolume flag?

I've amended both instances, but could someone confirm whether the USB image uses btrfs?

Yes, the USB image will also use btrfs, if it is built with a recent freedom-maker.

I think this change is ready to be merged, but actually, this copy of the freedom-maker repository here on github is not up-to-date. For example, it doesn't have the recent commits for btrfs.

The official freedom-maker repository (which includes btrfs) is at http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/freedombox/freedom-maker.git/. I think you will want to contact @petterreinholdtsen to get these changes merged into that repository.

Ah, forgot about that repository. I merged the code on alioth and on
<URL: https://github.com/freedombox/freedom-maker >, and pushed the
updates to my github repo and to alioth. I lack write access to
<URL: https://github.com/freedombox/freedom-maker >, so this is not updated.

The official one is the alioth repo, as you said, but I believe want
to keep this repos in sync.

Happy hacking
