How to edit a summary node's "captured nodes" after its creation

The following sequence is a simplified scenario of my actions that led to this question.

1. I've created two sibling nodes from the root node
2. I've left-clicked one node, pressed Shift button, then left-clicked its sibling
3. I then left-clicked "Add node" at the top (is it called the tool bar?), then left-clicked "New Summary Node", a new summary node is created as intended
4. later, I created a sibling node for the two previous ones, but considered that the summary node "attached" to the two shouldn't be "attached" to or "captures" the third node

Questions

• How then do I edit the summary node to exclude the third sibling?
• Is the only solution to the current graphical user interface is deleting the summary node then creating a new one? repeating steps (1) to (3)?
• is the forked summary node line called "edge"? If that is what it's called, how do I then edit this "edge" to narrow it down to "capture" fewer nodes?

There's a lot of double quotes in my post because I'm not sure of what term I should use. Sorry if I irate someone.

How then do I edit the summary node to exclude the third sibling?

Move it down, and it will leave the summary.
To move it down, use Edit->Move and sort->Move node down or by mouse drag and drop.

It worked! Thanks! I was tinkering with the wrong node. I kept doing things with the summary node, instead of the third node I want to exclude.
