Notifications are on the top right, not near the area im looking at

notifications to pop up around the area I am looking at instead of in the top right where I almost miss them

Oooh, you mean the system messages pop-ups! I don't have a good answer to that, we can't reliably determine where you're looking at, and they shouldn't be too disruptive either. Maybe increase their font size to improve their visibility?
