Feature request: Add option to import contacts

Hi. I know that there is the option to create an account from a backup of another. But, one might add the option to import contacts after creating the account?

It would be nice if we can import contacts from other social network.

in my case I'm using Friendica has a common place for several social networks and just discover the product. I would like so importing contacting I currently have on mastodon and diaspora.

the best option would be get an integrated way such as "Import contact from Mastodon" or "Import contact from Diaspora". But importing contact from a CSV file could be a really nice feature.

It would be convenient, but it would require these software to have some sort of third-party authentication method for Friendica to be able to extract the contact list. It may be available, but it's way more complex than just a CSV import.

I was looking for writing a quick script to import contact but it looks like API doesn't support yet method to do so ? Am I right ?

You're right, it has to be created first.
