Downloads

The $STLDLDIR directory stores all downloads started through SteamTinkerLaunch. Typically this path is ~/.config/steamtinkerlaunch/downloads, but may be different for Flatpak SteamTinkerLaunch.

A short list of programs that SteamTinkerLaunch may store in this downloads folder includes:

• Custom Proton
• Custom Wine
• Dependencies-Program debugger
• Depth3D shader files
• GFWL/xlive xlive replacement
• Hedge Mod Manager
• Proton packages Proton packages
• ReShade ReShade itself and required d3dcompiler dlls
• Shaders all Shader repositories
• Vortex the installation setup exe
• Winetricks in cases where Winetricks is not installed by the system (e.g. on Steam Deck)
• X64dbg debugger
