Nyrna

Nyrna is an tool for suspending applications, freeing up CPU and GPU resources. It supports games and also other applications such as 3D renderers and video encoding processes. It currently only officially supports X11, but may support Wayland in the future.

SteamTinkerLaunch allows you enable Nyrna for your game by enabling it from the Game Menu with a checkbox. You can also use a text editor to set RUN_NYRNA=1 in your Game Config file.
