The setting fsharp_keep_if_then_in_same_line is a relic from the past and is no longer advocated by the F# style guide.
The setting originally existed because the G-Research guide did not follow what the old MS guide advised.
Ever since the MS guide was updated, this setting is no longer doing anything and should be removed.
