NimSynth - Modular Synthesizer Workstation

Goals:

Cross platform, designed for performing live and in studio. Experimental audio creation. Easy to write your own modules. Build new things out of existing modules.

Everything is controllable.

Controls:

Global:

• F1/Ctrl+1: return to Layout View

Layout View:

• Connect machines with right-click drag (green lines)
• Bind parameters with right-click drag (red lines)
• Machines connected to master can make sound
• CTRL+S: save
• CTRL+O: open
• CTRL+N: new project
• CTRL+M: mute audio

Machine View:

Sequencer View:

• Lower octave: z,s,x,d,c,v,g,b,h,n,m
• Upper octave: q,2,w,3,e,r,5,t,6,y,u
• 1 = Off Note
• CTRL+PgDn: Double length of pattern
• CTRL+PgUp: Half length of pattern
• CTRL+L: toggle looping

F2: Machine Settings (select a machine first)

• UP/DOWN select parameter
• LEFT/RIGHT adjust parameter (SHIFT for fine control, CTRL for coarse control)
