I just tried to use the extension. I failed to add a single statement. I tried opening the Qid on wikidata.org and failed. I tried leaving feedback directly in the extension and failed.
In the end I went to wikidata and searched for "wikidata firefox" and found my way here to report.

I wonder. Have you done any user testing? Do you have a prototype in figma.com or similar tool that you used during development?

Cheers

No, so far this project was of more of a prototypical nature but I am eager to improve it. Thought I think at least with code, I should probably start from sketch.  😅

Ideas and feedback are welcome.

OK I understand. I really like the idea and it seems very promising 😃
I have a suggestion. Look up videos on design sprint 2.0 and the contact me if you are interested in doing a sprint together using Miro.com and design a prototype using figma.com.
It's very effective and you can quickly iterate through ideas and test on users and incrementally improve the prototype.
When you have a demo that users really love then you can code it and make a MVP. Then you can improve that if it really was worthwhile 😃

that sounds promising 😃. @camelCaseNick would you like to join?

Whether I'd join on majorly refactoring or restarting it? Yes, of course. So to check I understood the suggested method: It sounds like something to build a backlog.

if you do start on a major refactor I would be interested in trying to share some code (e.g. a js library). we likely have much overlap and i'm also considering a major refactor

@camelCaseNick The idea is to have the user and their needs at the core. Design sprint 2 is best explained by the videos liked from the items in this qid https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q105078321
