David,

We're planning on using touch-punch in our new UI. But our legal department has issues with the dual GPL2 & MIT license. They would like an email from the author agreeing that we can license only under the MIT license. Could you please send an email to jeffrey.kehoe@ca.com stating that you agree to the MIT license?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

I'll have my lawyer draft something immediately.

(Kid.)

The license states:

jQuery UI Touch Punch is © 2011David Furfero and dual licensed under the MIT or GPL Version 2 licenses.

You can use the library with either license. I was mirroring the jQuery license at the time Touch Punch was authored. jQuery has since removed the GPL2 license and is offered only under the terms of an MIT license. Future versions of Touch Punch will reflect this change.

Hopefully, this clarification will suffice. My lawyer is quite busy defending his wife's brother, El Chapo.

Maybe now is a good time to do that?
