- Get Material colors easily programmatically.
- Use Material colors in your XML
First, add it in your root build.gradle at the end of repositories:
allprojects {
repositories {
...
maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
}
}
Add the dependency to your app modules:
dependencies {
compile 'moe.feng:MaterialColorUtils:0.1.0'
}
MaterialColorUtils use application context to get color. Please add MaterialColors.init(this)
in your Application
's onCreate()
.
For example, you can get Material Blue 500's value like this:
val color = MaterialColors[ColorName.Blue][ColorLevel.`500`]
or
val color = MaterialColors.getColorInt(ColorName.Blue, ColorLevel.`500`)
Just use @color/material_blue_500
. There is no need to explain.
val colorResId = MaterialColors.getColorId(ColorName.Blue, ColorLevel.`500`)
val colorName: ColorName = MaterialColors.parseIdToColor(resourceId)
