Experiment of using repo to manage gaia with customize distribution
Make sure you have a bin/ directory in your home directory and that it is included in your path:
$ mkdir ~/bin
$ PATH=~/bin:$PATH
Download the Repo tool and ensure that it is executable:
$ curl https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo > ~/bin/repo
$ chmod a+x ~/bin/repo
Create a directory
$ mkdir mozgaia
$ cd mozgaia
init the repo
$ repo init -u https://github.com/gasolin/gaia-custom-repo.git
$ repo sync
Here's howto make your own dev repo settings for experiment:
-
edit default.xml , add a remote to your repository, ex:
2.1 replace project remote="b2g"
to project remote="<your name>"
, ex
<project remote="gasolin" name="gaia" path="."/>
2.2 comment out project remote="yurenju"
if you don't need customization
-
then sync the project
$ repo sync
That command will download all required .git for you.
