When you navigate to https://sitemap.gatsbyjs.org/ what do you see?

I get the same error, but why should that subdomain resolve? Do you perhaps mean to look for this: https://www.gatsbyjs.org/sitemap.xml

ah! Apologies for the lame issue description. I'm looking through all the example plugin pages and came across this: https://github.com/gatsbyjs/gatsby/tree/master/examples/sitemap

Notice the link in the README doesn't work, and neither does https://sitemap.gatsbyjs.org/sitemap.xml

I figured I'd try to fix this myself this morning but when I run yarn build, I get Error: MarkdownRemark.html field type must be Output Type but got: String.

Right now we have to manually add example sites on Netlify, and we haven't done this yet. We're going to automate the build process, until then, feel free to change the docs so it doesn't point to a dead link.
