This repository includes data files and R scripts for a basic replication of the results appearing in the December 2020 issue of PNAS, employing Synthetic Control Method to estimate the benefits of mandatory facemask policies in reducing COVID-19 case accumulation. The study examines a treatment event in Jena, Germany, on April 6th, 2020.
