geddy does not support 'If-Modified-Since'

i found that geddy did not return 304 after received the 'If-Modified-Since'-field from client,
web browser cann't cache the static files.
so what can i do if i need the browser cache?

I would love a failing test for this. But in any case, this is something we should fix.
