Error when downloading Sentinel-1 images

Hi,

I am trying to download an image collection of Sentinel-1 SAR images in EW mode. With a 40x40m resolution, and a swatch width of ~400km, most images are more than 10kx10k pixels, so I get the following error:

geemap.ee_export_image_collection(collectionHH, out_dir=out_dir_hh, scale=40)

Is the 10000 pixel dimension limit set by GEE on the server side? Is there any way to increase this limit?

Yes, the limit is enforced by GEE when downloading data directly to a local computer. For large datasets, you will have to export to Google Drive. try geemap.ee_export_image_collection_to_drive

The max_pixels argument is the same one as the one used by Export.image.toDrive. You can set it to whatever value as long as GEE allows it.

So, I tried the ee_export_image_collection_to_drive function, but it does not seem to work. I ran ee.Authenticate() first and connected my Google account, and then executed the code below. But nothing is added to the destination folder on my drive. Plus, the execution was finished too fast to think that anything has been exported.

Could you please explain what I'm doing wrong or point me to an example of how to do this?

I found this notebook, but still not sure how to connect my Drive to geemap!

You need to log into the GEE JavaScript Code Editor to check the status of the tasks. geemap only creates and sends the tasks to GEE.
