Counting the number of cells

I want to count cells that have a value in zonal statistics. I tried:
geemap.zonal_statistics(forests, fc, out_dir, statistics_type='COUNT', denominator=1000000, decimal_places=2)

I get the answer:
The statistics type must be one of the following: MEAN, MAXIMUM, MEDIAN, MINIMUM, STD, MIN_MAX, SUM, VARIANCE, HIST, FIXED_HIST

How should I know how many cells in a particular polygon have values, regardless of their value?

Counting the number of cells directly is not recommended in Earth Engine. You should calculate the total area and then divide it by the cell size (resolution ^2) to get the cell count.
