I'm cross-compiling the rpi-6.0.y branch now, with the amdgpu option added via menuconfig. Back in a bit...

After a cross-compile, and after installing sudo apt install firmware-amd-graphics, if I have the module blacklisted, then after boot run:

sudo modprobe amdgpu

I get the following in dmesg

Going to go ahead and return the RX 7900 XTX I bought, though, because the reference design cooler is exhibiting the hotspot/throttling behavior in vertical orientation, sigh.

I ('we' to which I would like to reference my "company", even though I am a 13 year old) have been watching this project for a while now Mr. Geerling and are very interested in this project. You have shown many times that primarily the Raspberry Pi compute module four, can be quite potentially powerful. But I have a question. If this project becomes successful, do you predict that Raspberry Pi may consider somehow gaining support for these graphics card modules?

The success with getting the old graphics processor to communicate and correspond with the compute module was quite an accomplishment, despite the strangely familiarized glitching that occurred on the monitor, (which happened to look like some vandal took different sections of the screen and moved them around).
