I am a Github Campus Expert 🚩 studying Mechatronics Engineering at the Advanced Technologies School (UPIITA) of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico (IPN). Even though, my real passion is Data Science and Machine Learning. 🚀
On Spring 2022 I got the opportunity to be be an Open Source fellow in the MLH fellowship 
, where I was paired with the AWS CLI, I did a feature where the connect and read timeouts to the services can be configurable from environment variables or from the config file without deprecating previous behaviour. This let users to have more control over services timeouts.
On Summer 2022 I started my internship at Nubank 
On early 2023 I finished my thesis project, an automated driller machine por printed circuit boards, it recognizes the pin-holes with a custom convolutional neural network for object detection and then it does a translation between pixels to DC motor pulses that reach accurately the pin hole center. I got to do the full ML pipeline since data recolectation, labeling, model building, do the real environment and put the software all together into a Raspberry Pi 4.
