Prose in Chapter 4 states that

Note that although point 4 is one unit of distance from the nearest node of polygon_sfc (at point 2 in Figure 4.3), it is still selected when the distance is set to 0.9.

Yet there are only 3 points in the figure. I think this is because we updated the example but the prose is still catching up!
