Probably related to the private __updating state of the model.LayerTreeNode that somehow gets shared between the trees.

I don't know. Didn't use multiple trees since then. But according to the example http://rawgit.com/geoext/geoext3/master/examples/tree/tree-legend-simple.html there are still some bugs with multiple trees.

As we had a complete overhaul in #96 on the related class, i think this can be closed. Reopen if needed.
