date widget fail when using non-english languages

"I am using the DateWidget and its working fine if I am using the
langauge English but facing problem when I am using other than English
as device langauge .
For other langauge its throwing error like

java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "Fri Dec 30 00:00:00 GMT
+05:30 2011" (at offset 0)
                                     at
java.text.DateFormat.parse(DateFormat.java:626)"
