Stations Manager
Railway Layout can be edited in the Stations Manager (Edit -> Stations
)
It has 3 tabs:
In this image you can see 3rd station is selected (Named 'Cavanella...')
This tab allows to add, remove or edit stations. Stations represents the nodes of the layout.
Choose a name for the new station. Name cannot be empty and cannot be already present in the layout. The new station is initially empty, you need to edit it.
First select one station on the table (you can use filter to quickly find the station you are looking for).
Then click Remove
.
NOTE: if a station is connected to other stations with segments it cannot be removed. You need to remove segments connected to this station first.
Basic details can be directly edited by clicking on desired cell on table.
For advanced edit, first select one station on the table (you can use filter to quickly find the station you are looking for).
Then click Edit
. (See Edit Station Dialog)
This tab allows to add, remove or edit segments. Segments represents the connections between 2 stations.
This tab allows to add, remove or edit lines.
Lines are a collection of adjacent segments.
For example in a layout like A <-> B <-> C
:
-
A
,B
andC
are stations -
<->
represent segments connecting 2 adjacent station (i.e.A <-> B
) - The line is the collection of the 2 segments so it will show
A <-> B <-> C
