As I use Github private repo for work, it seems not a good idea to allow read / write access to my account for it. Is there anyway / instructions I can self-host the token so I don't have to grant my access and use this nice workflow?

Sorry, just realise there is gh login > <oauth token> which doesn't need to grant access to the Github Apps :) Might be good to include it in the README? Otherwise I think this issue is good to close.
