Video streaming is sometimes bad. Proccessing has gotten much more powerful. Ideally, frame interpolation can reduce the amount of data needed to transmit videos during streaming. Deep frame interpolation leverages deep learning rather than heuristic methods to define rules by which to interpolate frames, and could more accurately be called frame prediction.
