A simple app that lets you control Spotify from the menubar. Completely written in Swift using the Spotify Applescript API and Sparkle.
Because of multiple problems I will not make any changes to this project going forward. Currently the app somehow can't communicate with Spotify using AppleScript (ScriptingBridge) when compiled under the latest XCode and Mojave builds which means development is practically impossible for me. If anybody can help be sure to send me an E-Mail, otherwise head over to the other alternatives like SpotMenu or BeardedSpice.
Just download the App from here and place it into your Applications Folder. Done!
In case it tells you that this App "can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.", just right-click the app and click on "Open".
To access the settings click on the cogwheel in the upper left corner under the cover-art, from there you can change how often the app should fetch information from Spotify or how the cover-art should look during mouseover.
