When using the current version provided by MikTeX I had 3 problems, maybe 4:

  1. \and in authors does not create an and for the last author -> it creates a comma
  2. \and in keywords produces semicolon instead comma
  3. The bibliography prints month entries, however the GI doesn't want that. Since I'm using bibtex I have learned, that this has to be adressed in the *.bst file
  4. Currently I'm not sure if this is realy a problem (I'm waiting on an answer from the GI), but the style guidlines state that equations should be alligned to the left with a 0.5cm margin ("Gleichungen müssen um 0,5 cm vom linken Rand eingerückt werden"). However, the equation environment is centered

Looking at the new rules in the Word document, there also seem to be the following necessary changes:
5. "References" should be named "Bibliography" (can be easily changed by hand)
6. No headers or page number (already possible using the norunningheads flag)
7. Removing the licence image on the lower left of the title page (needs own maketitle definition)

Why these sometimes substantial differences were not highlighted in my document review by the editors is another question...

Everything has been resolved except for 1. and 3.

For biblatex, 3. should be done directly in biblatex-lni. @koppor I should raise an issue for that.

  1. has now been added to biblatex-lni

I will resume working on biblatex-lni soon. There I needed to check German vs. English heading size of the bibliography heading. - A patch was filed and I "just" need to check the patch.
