@giantvoid giantvoid released this 07 Nov 12:22

This version does some optimizations of the Void Notes workflow.

  • Behavior change on Linux and Windows: With only search window visible, pressing Esc will now minimize it instead of hiding. With this change, you can still switch back to Void Notes by using the standard OS window switching shortcuts (usually Alt+Tab and Shift+Alt+Tab), so opening Void Notes again will not require clicking on the system tray icon with the mouse, if system tray was enabled.
  • New settings in setting.txt: save_mode. It can have one of the two following values: on_close (default), and immediate. For on_close, the note content is saved when the editor window is closed. For immediate, every change on the note (practically speaking - every inserted or deleted piece of text) will be immediately saved. Until now, immediate was the default mode. on_close was implemented for the cases, when the amount of saves should be reduced (for example, when some synchronization solution like SpiderOak is used, so that it doesn't start after every typed in character).
