I placed my phone generating 294Hz sinusoidal next to the mic, Lingot next to Fmit for comparison, here is a screen capture:

With the instrument that is much worse. In preferences I have this:

I tried the 'Frequency refinements' thing but nothing different happens.
Should I use different configuration or is this a problem of the software?

Hi, quite interesting.
Could you post a link with the recording of the waveform? (like opening audacity in parallel and capture the same input as FMIT and Lingot.

In the compressed file is the audacity project with the recording. Audio is unprocessed.
