PETECATAQUE

Game made as a proof of concept for a game engine prototype, using Lua, LÖVE and Nested.

Assets used

Engine features

  • Object tree as scenes
  • Composable declarative recipes for instantiating objects, with getter and setter expressions, inheritance chain
  • Debug toolbar with a pause button, view translation and scaling, FPS count
  • Hot reloading of recipes and other assets while the game is open
