some libraries such as DBLP encode special characters in the DOI such as underscores. Currently, in the preprint header, it is assumed that the URL is unescaped this causes that the DOI is not clickable.

The problem can be observed on springer DOIs such as https://dblp.org/rec/conf/mkm/SchubotzSTKBG20.html?view=bibtex
