Remove symlinks created to minimize user disruption during the rename of the git-credential-manager-core exe to git-credential-manager. This is in keeping with the timeline outlined in the rename announcement.

  • Remove symlinks and related code from codebase
  • Update rename.md with version in which symlinks were removed.
