Prize Title

Pitch A Hackathon Idea: Funding The Future

Prize Bounty

50 DAI for the best hackathon idea (no limits on what a hackathon idea is), as judged by the Gitcoin Team. 25 DAI for the runner up.

.01 ETH tips will be provided to the first 50 posts on the Funding The Future Town Square, irrespective of whether it is selected as the top idea.

Challenge Description

Post your hackathon idea on Town Square.

Bonus points if you mention technologies you might use to build the hack.Here is some inspiration, used in past Gitcoin hacks: 3Box, Bloom, OP Games, Decentraland, Status, Ethereum Classic, Bancor, Dharma, Compound, rDAI, Sablier, FOAM Protocol, Sia, IPFS... so many options!

Submission Requirements

Post must be made in Funding The Future town square to be eligible. Would appreciate if you post if you are interested in building it, or if there are any relevant materials to read up on the idea.

Submission Deadline

By the end of the Funding The Future hackathon.

Judging Criteria

[comment]: # How will the sponsor ultimately decide the winner/winners from all valid submissions? First valid submission received? Best submission meeting some criteria by the deadline?

  • At the discretion of the Gitcoin team for 1st place, 50 DAI.
  • At the discretion of the Gitcoin team for 2nd place, 25 DAI.
  • Anyone who posts on Funding The Future Town Square with a valid hackathon idea will get a tip of 0.01 ETH.

Winner Announcement Date

  • Will announce winners in early April (before April 10th).
