The Gitcoin avatar builder has the ability to have MANY different avatar types on it.

How it works

Checkout these two sample avatar svgs.

If you open them up in your favorite SVG editor this is what youll see as the DOM structure

Basically there are different categories of accessories.. And different permutations of that accessory.. And they are encapsulated as items in the DOM of the svg.

Bounty

Your task is to create an avatar concept for the avatar builder. To participate

  1. Design an avatar from the request list below.
  2. Post a sketch .
  3. We'll chat about it; and I may invite you to post a full vector image of the avatar.
  4. We'll chat about it; and I may invite you to post a full layer avatar file.

The prize for a getting a full avatar file on the site will be vary. I have 3 ETH to spend on prizes, which I plan to roughly distribute as follows:
1st prize: 1 ETH
2nd prize: 0.2 ETH x 5
3rd prize: 0.05 ETH x 20
honorable mention: at my discretion

Asks

I would like for these avatars to be 'green pill' themed.

How to submit work

Submit a PR to this directory https://github.com/gitcoinco/creative/tree/master/ on the gitcoin creative repo

IMPORTANT

  • Must be 350px x 350px in viewport
  • must be art that is original or that you can prove you own the liscense to
  • Must comply with svg specs:

for each item in the dom, 

  • make sure it follows the naming convention type_permutation so ears_1 ears_2 ears_3 for type ears
  • make sure no item that needs to be displayed in the DOM is more than 1 layer deep
  • make sure each element in the DOM is a g object (which i think stands for group)
  • to see what i mean, checkout the DOM of these two sample avatar svgs. this is what they look like:Image+2020-01-27+at+10 33 10+PM

The deadline for this bounty is 1/22/2022. submission after the deadline will NOT be considered!

gm all, i finally got around to adding these to the avatar builder.

for many of you, i was not able to load them in. comments below. if i tagged you, please submit a new file. ill accept files until monday + at that time i'll do the judging for final payouts.

@matimaone1 @rasaso @Khadija344 i cannot view your submission svg . the link in your submission is not a svg

@godideas @Deosaju @giorgiothegood @IamJvck can you please combine the svgs into one layered file as specified in the bounty desc?

@Code-emm your avatar only has one layer. can you please add more layers if you'd like to be considered for the prize?

@Nefuski @Virtual-Face @JoshuaArtman @AvrilApril pls submit a version of your submission that is 350px x 350px

@hamzaghz pls submit a version of your submission that is 350px x 350px (and excludes the items that trasncend the 350x x 350px frame). youll also want to remove the outermost layers pls.

@muratgozel @lukerhoads can you please add more layers to your submission? there arent any permutations for many of the objects in the svg

@mibvase your svg submission looks empty to me. can you resubmit pls?

@godideas the avatar you sent only has a few diff permutations in it. can you please resubmit with a few diff permutations for each object type?

@Nefuski can you please submit an avatar that is 350px x 350px?
