Gitextensions 3.00.00.433 freezes

Hi,

my portable version of gitextensions freezes when fetching avatars.
I'm working behind a restrictive company firewall/proxy.
The UI appears to hang, most things like the tree view remain white/blank.

My version is:

• Git Extensions 3.00.00.4433
• Build fca7cf2
• Git 2.20.0.windows.1
• Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.17134.0
• .NET Framework 4.7.3221.0
• DPI 96dpi (no scaling)

I attached a debugger to the process, and it showed the stack trace as seen in the attached image below:
first gitextension releated thing is AvatarDownloader.GetAvatarAsync.__Download|6() Line 155

Any idea what's blocking?

This issue is believed to be fixed in #5878.
