This problem probably has something to do with my own installation but when I run the app I get

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libgmp.10.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/dad/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/OSXGMP-dagiaoxcltpmcdchvxpzloehnphg/Build/Products/Debug/OSXGMP
Reason: image not found

It's true that /usr/local/lib does not contain that lib. I use fink and libgmp is installed under /sw/lib but that dylib doesn't exist there either.

Something simple perhaps?

Hello Bill,
Thanks for your interest in OSXGMP.
I'm sorry to hear that you've some problems. I remember that another user
had the same issues (see issue log/history) and that he resolved it by
copying the missing libraries (from the downloaded OSXGMP project) into the
/usr/local/lib.
Currently I'm not on my developer Mac, so hopefully in the coming weekend
(Sunday evening) I might take a look at it and try to fix it.
Hope this may be of any help, and my apologies for the inconvenience (and
thanks for the email).
Kind regards,
Otto van Verseveld

Thanks, Otto. No apology necessary at all. Apple has made libraries complicated, that's for sure.

I did symlink libgmp.10.dylib into /usr/local/lib and that worked. I am also digging deeper into the problem so I can understand it better.

Please close this if you like or leave it open so we can continue the discussion. At your pleasure.

Bill
