Thanks, but like #540 and some other previous PRs, this essentially duplicates Symfony2.gitignore since Laravel uses Symfony. If you'd like to proceed with this, then could you explain why the existing Symfony template is inadequate, and explain the need for these specific rules with respect to Laravel? Thanks! |

I'm going to close this for now, since the Symfony2 template seems to do the job. |

I added this because default .gitignore (https://github.com/laravel/laravel/blob/master/.gitignore) is not helpful for development purpose .
