I thought it would be useful to show warnings from RST rendering, but in reality it has turned out to be extremely confusing for people and we've had a lot of support requests about it.
Googling for System Message: ERROR/3 shows ~60,000 results on github.com alone.
Some day, I would love to beef up our pipeline to be better about showing warnings to users, but it's not really a priority right now.
