With regards to the conversation here, I updated the README to add a section about community contributions being welcome. It might be worth updating this to further encourage contributions as the "Proof of Concept" warning might turn many away from contributing if they don't believe this is going to be supported in the long term.
Re formatting: Prettier also did it's thing over the README file as .md files are now supported. I can undo this if required.
